As we ring in the New Year for Wright-Pierce and our clients, we reflect upon the challenging year that has passed and how fortunate we are. We are still in the midst of a global pandemic, racial injustice, and time of political unrest; Wright-Pierce’s response to these items is ongoing and we’re focusing on keeping our people safe while working toward a more inclusive workforce.

This year we are grateful to have welcomed 46 new staff to Wright-Pierce and expanded the teams in each of our service areas. We also had 13 engineering student interns over the summer and plan to continue our intern program in the coming year. We said “thank you for all you have done” to 8 retirees, several whom had spent the greater part of three decades making us the company we are today. We celebrated ACEC awards for our environmental projects, were included on the list of ENRs top-rated engineering firms, and were named among PSMJ’s Circle of Excellence. We also spearheaded local United Way campaigns donating $52,000 to charities across our geographic areas, as well as targeted donations for charities that are close to our hearts.

In 2021, we will continue our 74-year legacy as an employee-owned, practice-based engineering firm, achieved through the trust and working relationships with our valued clients and dedication of our employees. We are fortunate to have a great community here at Wright-Pierce and have much to be thankful for.

On behalf of all of us at Wright-Pierce, we wish you and your family a happy, healthy new year!

John
