Wright-Pierce, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary environmental engineering firm, has been recognized for a strong commitment to employee health and corporate well-being. The 200+ person company has earned The Healthiest Employers Award by Healthiest Employer, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company in association with the Providence Business News (PBN), an affiliate of American City Business Journals, Inc.

This award recognizes Wright-Pierce for the success of the company’s ‘Wright Way to Wellness’ program. The program, led by Wellness Ambassadors at each of the company’s eight offices, educates and motivates Wright-Pierce employees to improve their health. The Wellness program offers a variety of health incentives including fitness reimbursements, lunch and learn sessions, on-site flu clinics, wellness coaches, physical fitness challenges, biometric screenings and company-sponsored recreational events.

According to Wright-Pierce’s Director of Human Resources, Connie Taggart, “We initiated the ‘Wright Way to Wellness’ program company-wide six years ago, and we’ve earned this honor the past four years. Health awareness and empowering our employees to be informed healthcare consumers are priorities at Wright-Pierce. Our ambassadors work with the staff from StayFit in offering well-being models that encourage healthy lifestyles and support participants in sustainable behavioral changes. The results have been positive — involved, happier, and healthier employees. It’s a win all around.”
