Following the firm’s annual shareholder meeting in April, Wright-Pierce announced several new leadership team members. Steven Hallowell has been appointed to the firm’s Board of Directors, Laurie Perkins and Ronald Williams are newly appointed Associate Vice Presidents, and five new company shareholders have been named. These promotions reflect the most recent initiative of Wright-Pierce’s established ownership transition plan.
Wright-Pierce is owned by a group of key employee shareholders, representing about 21% of employees. The new shareholders, nominated as such based on their demonstrated leadership, are (listed alphabetically): Matthew Burns, PE (Topsham, ME); Bryanna Denis, PE (Topsham, ME); Paul Denis, PE (Topsham, ME); James Papadimitriou, PE (Westfield, MA); and Laura Riley, CPA (Andover, MA).
Steve Hallowell, PE is a Vice President, Florida Wastewater Practice Group Leader, and newest member of the Board of Directors. Steve has been with Wright-Pierce for over 30 years and has a wide range of experience in planning, design, and construction of wastewater and water facilities and infrastructure projects for municipal and contract operator clients. Over the years, he has served as project manager on a number of wastewater, water, and civil projects in Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut and has been essential to growing the firm’s presence in Florida.
Laurie Perkins, PE is the Infrastructure Assessment Group Leader and newly appointed Associate Vice President. Laurie provides engineering and management expertise on wastewater collection system projects, including sewer system assessments, sewer system rehabilitation and renewal, conveyance, and SSO and CSO abatement. She is a NASSCO certified master trainer and has over 25 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects.
Ronald Williams, AIA is the Architectural Group Leader and newly appointed Associate Vice President. Ron has over 25 years of experience in all facets of building design projects from initial planning and feasibility studies through construction delivery. He leads the firm’s architecture group and has provided the architectural design for projects ranging from large $100M new wastewater treatment construction/upgrade projects to small renovations, as well as studies, evaluations, and master plans.
