Field Technician
Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Field Technician to join a growing infrastructure assessment team, focused on the assessment of municipal collection systems and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Performing field work associated with sewer system condition assessments (sewer televising/ CCTV oversight, smoke/dye testing, manhole inspections, building inspections, and flow monitoring)
- Preparing field truck and collecting equipment for upcoming field work
- Reporting progress to project team and project manager daily
- Performing routine maintenance and adjustments on equipment
- Carrying out project work according to scope and budget
- Documenting key issues and reporting progress.
- Attending kickoff meetings to gain project understanding
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assisting in Training and Quality control of work performed in the Field
Essential Skills
- Strong computer, hand’s on, communication, and reporting skills.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- Willing to travel throughout Wright-Pierce project locations in New England and Florida, when necessary.
- Ability to travel for overnights or 1- 2 week durations at project locations, home weekends.
- Experience conducting field work and collecting data to be reviewed is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s license.

Experience

Education
- High school diploma preferred
