Projects to Bid

The Base Bid Work involves, the removal, dewatering and disposal of sludge from the existing aerated lagoon; cleaning of existing primary and secondary clarifiers; temporary treatment of wastewater in the primary settling lagoon with temporary aeration; upgrade of the existing secondary lagoon with earthen berm and HDPE liner; aeration, process, sanitary, water, storm drainage, chemical and underdrain piping; manholes, valve pits, and drain manholes; underground electrical and instrumentation ductbanks; new lagoon outlet structures; new headworks and blower buildings; new chlorine contact tank and emergency generator system; rehabilitation of the existing Control Building; site work including fencing, bituminous  pavement, grading, loaming and seeding; hazardous abatement of existing structures, concrete, miscellaneous metals, painting, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation and electrical work and
miscellaneous demolition work.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Bid Alternates include:  demolition of piping and process equipment in basement of Control Building; demolition of the town’s primary clarifiers; demolition of the GNP primary clarifier; demolition of the GNP Operations Building; new photovoltaic system for the Control and Blower Buildings; new  screenings washpress; and abatement of hazardous materials for the GNP primary clarifier and GNP Operations Building.
