Projects to Bid

The Project consists of furnishing and installing a new storm drain system to replace the existing drainage infrastructure along Allen Street in Rangeley, Maine. The new underground drainage system consists of Type C storm drains on the west side of the street, underdrains on the east side of the street, and a series of drainage structures and cross pipes to connect to the existing culvert crossing Main Street at the bottom of Allen Street. The project also includes replacement of the existing 6-inch diameter cast iron water main along the west side of Allen Street with a new 8-inch diameter ductile iron water main in the center of the street. The water main portion of the project includes installation of hydrants, valves, services, and various appurtenances as indicated in the contract documents. Final restoration shall include full width reconstruction of the roadway including gravel subbase and base, bituminous asphalt, sidewalks, curbing, pavement markings, loam, and seed. Work is expected to be substantially completed by November 30, 2019.
