Wright-Pierce, an employee-owned company, was recently recognized as a leader in the United Way Mid Coast Maine 2018 “Moving Forward Together” campaign.

The Firm has participated in United Way annual fundraising campaigns for more than 30 years, with individual employee and corporate giving from each of Wright-Pierce’s eight offices. This year the Topsham, ME office has exceeded its challenge goals in both participation and funds raised, earning the company the Mid-Coast Maine Finance and Professional Firms Division Award.

Wright-Pierce is committed to serving our communities, those in which we live and our neighbors. As environmental engineers, we work together with communities throughout New England and Florida to improve our municipal infrastructure and protect our natural resources.

In addition to the Firm’s support of United Way, Wright-Pierce supports many other non-profit organizations including Engineers Without Borders, Water for People, and Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership, through individual and group involvement.

Connie Taggart, Director of Human Resources and one of the organizers of the annual United Way campaigns, remarks “Our ongoing support and involvement in United Way, for decades, is a natural extension of what we do every day to serve and protect the communities we live in, and the broader environmental community we all share and rely on.”
