William “Bill” Young, COC, MPA, has joined Wright-Pierce as a Client Services and Office Manager for our newly opened office at 4720 Salisbury Road, Suite 219, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Bill will oversee the development of Wright-Pierce’s North Florida team and foster relationships with both new and familiar clients, ensuring our project teams meet performance goals with the same quality of service provided to our Central Florida clients.

Bill is the former St. Johns County Utility Director with over 35 years of experience in managing the operations of water, wastewater, and water reclamation systems. During his tenure, he oversaw the completion of over $150 million in capital projects, and he managed multiple strategic plans, rate studies, and staffing efficiency reports. A proven leader throughout his career, Bill has been involved in several professional and community organizations and is the past chair of the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association.

Wright-Pierce Senior Client Service Manager Dennis Davis, PE, Assoc. DBIA, has known Bill for many years. He adds, “I know how well-regarded Bill is throughout the state and within the water and wastewater industry. When we started looking for the right person to lead our North Florida office, I knew that Bill was the right person for the job. I’m honored to be working side by side with him now as he enters this next phase of his career.”
