Wright-Pierce, a full-service environmental/civil infrastructure engineering firm, has announced expansion of their Tampa office. Tampa is Wright-Pierce’s third Florida office location, with other offices in Maitland and Lakeland.
According to Christopher Baggett, Senior Project Manager and office manager who has been working in the Tampa Bay area for over 24 years, “This expansion allows us to better serve our growing Tampa-area client base. We look forward to sharing our expertise in water and wastewater engineering with surrounding communities facing the challenges associated with population growth while protecting the environment and ensuring clean, safe water supply and delivery.”
Wright-Pierce has a growing presence in the Tampa area assisting clients in Hillsborough, Polk, and Citrus Counties where existing water and sewer infrastructure is aging, and environmental regulations are evolving. This includes a county-wide septic-to-sewer study in Citrus County that will provide guidance to help protect environmentally sensitive springs. Wright-Pierce’s Horizontal Infrastructure Assessment Group is also conducting infiltration/inflow (I/I) studies to identify sewer system leaks and other deficiencies for several Tampa area utilities, including Hillsborough County and the City of Clearwater.
According to Wright-Pierce President and CEO, John Braccio “Florida’s quality of life and continued population growth puts increasing demand on the region’s water and wastewater infrastructure and natural resources. Wright-Pierce is an active partner with utilities and municipalities throughout the Tampa Bay region and central Florida who have the responsibility to protect the environment and maintain a sustainable balance between consumptive water use and water resources. Our Tampa office location is consistent with our strategic plan to better serve our clients in the Tampa Bay area.”
