Wright-Pierce recently appointed Rich Protasowicki, Tim Vadney, and Ryan Wingard to the role of Vice President. They will also serve on the Board of Directors. These new leaders further strengthen the multidisciplinary leadership of the 72-year old environmental engineering firm.

As Water Practice Group leader, Rich Protasowicki serves in a lead role for many water infrastructure projects, and also helps educate water suppliers about emerging technologies and best practices to comply with new regulations. Rich stated, “As new water contaminants are identified by the EPA, we work with municipalities to effectively upgrade their infrastructure to protect public health.” He has been honored by the Massachusetts Water Works Association (MWWA) for his ongoing commitment to the water works profession.
A leader within the firm’s Wastewater Group, Tim Vadney is committed to providing clients with a trusted representative on all projects. Tim served as Project Manager of the recently completed Newmarket, NH wastewater treatment plant upgrade which was recognized as the “Overall Winner” of ACEC-NH’s Engineering Excellence Award program. According to ACEC representatives, the Newmarket project was “the year’s most outstanding engineering achievement.”
Ryan Wingard is Wright-Pierce’s Civil Practice Group Leader, routinely serving as Technical Advisor on many multidisciplinary projects. Ryan noted, “As climate change and MS4 stormwater regulations become more pressing issues, effective stormwater engineering and management is increasingly important. Our approach to a thorough vetting of all key issues helps to ensure successful project outcomes.”
