Wright-Pierce, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary environmental engineering firm, has been recognized again this year by Engineering News Record (ENR) as one of the “Top 200” Environmental Firms in the country. ENR, a trade publication of the AEC (architecture, engineering & construction) industry, compiles and publishes annual rankings of engineering and construction firms in the US.

In the Top 200 Environmental Firms for the past nine years, Wright-Pierce’s ranking on the 2018 list rose based on the company’s continued growth. John Braccio, Wright-Pierce President and CEO, reflects on the past year and the industry, “The need to ensure the reliable performance of our extensive but aging municipal water, wastewater, stormwater and civil infrastructure will continue to be the main driver of our industry. Sustainability and asset management are becoming increasingly important as municipalities and utilities develop their annual Capital Improvement Plans with the goal to prioritize spending of available funds. Wright-Pierce continues to assist many municipalities in evaluating and strategically prioritizing their infrastructure upgrade needs with solutions tailored to achieve short and long-term technical goals and match financial constraints.”

In June, Wright-Pierce was also recognized by ENR as one of the “Top 500” Design Firms, and earned rankings in the Top 25 of the ENR Design Firms Sourcebook in the Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sanitary and Storm Sewers categories.

Wright-Pierce also continues to earn award recognition for completed projects including three American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Engineering Excellence Awards in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In addition, the firm was recently recognized by Healthiest Employer, LLC for promoting a culture of wellness through the company-wide program, The Wright Way to Wellness, which provides incentives and rewards to all employees for healthy life choices.
